The Jildo is well presented in a quality velvet pouch which makes it an ideal present and a joy to receive before unwrapping it!
The Jildo itself has obviously been very well crafted - a delightful change to some plasticy tacky items that are available these days.
I have not previously seen a wooden dildo available on sale and the first impression of the Jildo immediately strikes me as stylish, easy to use and something that will last for years to come - It even came with a certificate of authenticity!
What was the item like in action?
The item performed well in action. It is sturdy and has a really good feel about it in that you not only have the confidence in the material but it warms to your body temperature making it very comfortable. Being a manually driven item it is a good addition to use with your partner or alone and very easy to use and requires no instructions or batteries .. So it is as quiet or as noisy as the person using it is.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
The item did make me feel sexy as it made me feel like I had been given a treat. Its luxurious finish and the warmth when using is very pleasurable. The specific model I tried had engraved notches down the shaft. Seeing the other type of Jildo's available I was pleased I got to try this one as the look of a couple of the others resembled something you would play in an orchestra and not something I especially would want to associate with in the bedroom. unless of course you like that kind of thing. The smooth notches crafted on the model I tried definitely added to the overall good feel and enjoyment of this product and I would recommend it.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
I did not use this item with a partner but it would be a great addition to use with another. Overall I am very pleased with this item as it is enjoyable to look at and use.

This item has far exceeded my expectations and it is not like anything I have already. It is multi-practical as you could use it for massage too and happily leave it out on show and it not cause embarrassment if your granny popped in for a cup of tea.
How could this item be improved upon?
The packaging is a definate plus, although the certificate of authenticity in my opinion devalues the item a little - perhaps if something is included with the item it would be better to place a small card inside the velvet bag thereby adding to the sophisication of the product.
Other than that no improvements required as I am genuinely very pleased with it.
Would you recomend this item to a friend?
Yes, defininately and would like to buy one for all my friends for Christmas!
Do you have any hot tips for usage with this item?
As previously mentioned this item could probably happily double as a massage tool for back and feet too - just need a partner for that bit though. Failing that use it as intended on your own or with others.
As the item has a silky feel it requires no lubrication. Obviously if this was to be used anally then lube would be needed.
The certificate of authenticity details how the item is made which provides peace of mind of its safety, such as there is nothing that could irritate your bits or nasty crevices that has bacteria.

I was very curious, i had never heard of or saw a jildo in my life before. It was very smooth, nice to hold and looked almost like an ornament. My partner and i were anxious to try it as its smooth form seemed very inviting, we both assumed it would be 'good wood'!
What was the item like in action?
The sensation of the smooth, warm wood with its large rounded ridges was calming, relaxing and very gentle. My partner seemed to know instinctivly how to use it(he even used it to massage my back first)
Did the item make you feel sexy?
Definately yes. The old fashioned look of the object sugested many fun role plays.

What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
My wife and I were excited when we received the e-mail informing us that our first item to review was on its way. Wheb the item arrived we quickly unwrapped the parcel to discover what was inside. To be honest we were somewhat disappointed by what we received - a wooden dildo. My wife's comment was " Have we gone back to the stone ages!"
The packaging for the jildo consisted of a gold coloured fabric bag inside and with the packaging was a certificate setting out the reasons as to why it was made of wood and certifying its build quality. The jildo itself was about 7 inches long and about 2 1/2 inches in circumference and made of highly polished wood.
My wife and I thought it would perform no better than average and did not expect it to perform out of the ordinary.
What was the item like in action?
The certificate claimed that the jildo would quickly warm up when in use and by warmer to use than sex toys made of plastic. My wife commented that this was not the case and that the jildo was no warmer than her other dildos.
We had no problem in using the jildo but as we had anticipated it was no more than average in the performance stakes.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
The jildo did not make me or my wife feel particularly sexy or more in the mood for sex (other than the usual excitement that arises from trying out a new sex toy) as we thought using wood for a dildo was a step backwards when it came to sex toy technology.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
My wife commented that as the jildo was highly polished it slipped in and out of her very easily and as such let her reach orgasm reasonably easily although it was necessary for her to rub her clitoris as well.
We have not yet shown or discussed the jlldo with family or friends

We had not ever considered getting a jildo and now we have one will not be using it regularly unless we feel like stepping back in time!
The jildo performed as we thought it - no better or worse than a regular dildo.

The jildo has nothing wrong with it, it was just not an item that particularly excited either me or my wife.
The jildo we received was not really big enough girth wise but I am sure that this is not the case with other jildos as each one is different.

No, unless I was aware they were in to wooden objects.

We have not tried the jildo anally and this may well be worth trying, as the version of the jildo we received was quite slim and being highly polished would not require much lube, if any.
Being a dildo my wife and I found it necessary to use our fingers to rub her clitoris in order for her to achieve orgasm - the jildo by itself was not enough. I am sure that using other toys instead of fingers would be just as effective - perhaps a mini vibe?
