What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
When I first took the package out of the envelope, it looked quite interesting. But I wasn't totally overwhelmed with excitement either! The box, I thought, looked a bit tacky. There was a picture on the front and back of a scantily clad woman. Not very appealing really. On the front of the box there was also a picture of the dolphin and and in large writing it promised "25% more power" I don't know if that's true or not as I don't know how much power it had before! There is also a logo saying that it's waterproof. The back of the box says it has has "pleasure nodes", is pleasantly scented and is made from Hygeinically Superior Silicone!The side of the box describes it as a "Vibrator with Clit Stimulator".
Inside the box there were 3 plastic bags. One containing 8 watch batteries, one containing the Dolphin and one containing the tiny vibrator that slides into the dolphin. The vibrator takes 4 batteries, so I thought it was very exciting that two sets of batteries were supplied! The actual dolphin is blue and shaped in such a way that the tail curls round. The "pleasure nodes" are on the tail and are just little lumps.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting very much from this item.
What was the item like in action?
Considering how small it was, it was more powerful than I expected! But it turned out that the vibrations didn't reach every part of the dolphin.....namely, the pleasure nodes! The actual vibrator slotted into a hole just above the dolphins tail, but the tail curled away from it and was quite thin and the vibrations just didn't reach it.....I might as well have been using a thimble!!! It switched on by twisting the end of it in the opposite direction to when you unscrew it to put the batteries in. This meant that when you switch it off you're quite likely to unscrew it and lose the batteries.
Another thing about the batteries.....they ran out on only the second time I used it!!!!! Now I know why two sets of batteries are provided!
Overall, a bit of a disappointment! It is definitely waterproof though!
Did the item make you feel sexy?
No. It made me feel more frustrated than anything because, although it was very powerful for its size, it wasn't quite powerful enough to finish the job and I was on the brink for so long that I gave up and used a different one! It was also quite loud, which isn't very appealing either.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
I didn't show it to any friends. But my reaction to it was that it promised a bit more than it could actually deliver. The size of it does make it very portable though!

The writing on the box made this item seem very appealing and it was something I might have considered buying for myself. If I had done so though, I think I would have been quite disappointed by it.
How could this item be improved upon?
There must be some way to make the vibrations reach the tail! Otherwise it's rendered obsolete! It didn't actually do anything!

Not really.
Do you have any hot tips for useage with this item?
Whilst the pleasure nodes on the tail didn't work, I found the vibrations were actually strongest in the nose and and the fin on its back!

I would give it a 3 out of 5. It wasn't really terrible, but could've been better.

First glance looked interesting & fun.Neat packaging, giving full look at item before undoing. Nice size toy would fit into the smallest of handbags for emergency use! Nice pale colour not tacky looking. Very light weight fits comfortably into small hands. Bit difficult to get bullet into dolphin but once fitted looked good. Expected it to be quite powerfull and able to hit the spot quicklly.
What was the item like in action?
Packaging didn't say anything about what it would do. Noise level was nicely quiet for battery operation. Very gentle vibrations which meant it took along time to reach the point of no return, would be more suited to first time explorers. Very easy & comfortable to use.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
Took far to long to get me turned on as was expecting it to be alot more powerfull than it was, did get there eventually but took two lots of batteries to do it. Not a toy I would use with my partner as to gentle.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
Showed toy to a couple of girlfriends who thought it looked like fun and size was good for carrying around. Partner didn't think it looked like it would be powerfull enough. Girls thought it would be quite satisfying.

If I had walked into a shop & seen this I would definatly have brought it on apperance alone as it looks so neat. Compared to other dolphin shaped toys I have tried it is no where near as powerfull.
How could this item be improved upon?
Packaging is good as show the item off very well. Size is excellent but batteries do not last anywhere near long enough had not expected to have to change them half way through ist time of using it.
Would you recomend this item to a friend?
I would recommend it to younger or inexpereinced friends who were just starting to explore toy play.
Do you have any hot tips for useage with this item?
If batteries lasted longer it would encourage me to use it more as the gentle vibrations are very relaxing & being as quiet as it is makes a good toy to use away from home.Needed to use lubricant as it took a long while to get me going.
