What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
My first impression was that the dildo was very smooth, natural and different. This was something that I hadn't experienced before. It's an opportunity not too add to the growing pile of plastic and to do something for the environment- as well as your sex life ! Packaging was excellent with the velvet bag it came in being very luxurious.
What was the item like in action?
It was incredibly easy to insert and moanouver. Another advantage is that as it's a dildo there are no batteries or motor and therefore no noise- from the item at least ! It felt very hard and different to what I am used to .
Did the item make you feel sexy?
I admit I felt a little uneasy at first with the thought of putting a piece of wood in a very private area, but as it was so smooth I had no worries about splinters. It gives off a natural warmth unlike plastic or manmade ones. I haven't tried glass ones and so can not compare to those.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
As the saying goes it did the job intended. I felt at ease rubbing it all over my body beforehand where as with a plastic vibrator it feels a bit stupid in front of my partner.

It was certainly a different experience and one I will repeat from time to time. Another good use for it is as a back massager !
How could this item be improved upon?
I did feel the dildo was a little too narrow. It would have been better if the shaft flared out near more nearer to the handle.

Possibly- especially if they were allergic to manmade materials and also if they preferred something a bit harder.

Spend time with it getting your partner to rub it all over your body as we found it a big turn on to use it this way before the actual act. It may be unusual but its definitely worth it- don't give up on it if it doesn't work first time.

we couldnt wait to try it out! it looked very interesting and stylish in its velvet pouch! it felt smother than any other dildo we have tried which would inturn create a different sensation than any before!

it was fantastic! with two different ends to give two very different sensations! the ridges in different places reach different areas depending on what you want! the smooth surface of the wood meant that no other lubrication is required as it glides up easily with very minimal moisture from the vagina!

YES!! sexy and sentual!

My first thoughts were- Oh my god, it'll be like fucking part of a tree!! The actual packaging was very nice as it is in a purple velvet pouch with a pull cord ribbon tie at the top. The feel of the hardwood dildo is as it sounds -very hard wood, but it is a very smooth wood and ours has bumps along part of the shaft making it look as realistic as poss. The width is poss a bit too wide for the hubbie to use. The dildo flares out and is flat at the end which makes it easy to grasp. Thought it might be warm to the touch when using it but it wasn't. Being made from wood I knew it wouldn't be flexible. Am used to the battery operated stuff, so was curious to try.
What was the item like in action?
Being new to testing I was eager to try and I thought what the hell,It can't be that different from using my own dildos, give it a go it may feel good. But sadly no, it just felt cold and very hard. The flat end made it easy to hold on to, but even by moving it into places that I normally react to it didn't do anything for me. It was quite long for me too- 9 1/2", and It felt a bit painful as it was so hard. Even the bumpy ridges on the dildo didn't do anything for me.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
The hardwood dildo didn't make me feel sexy at all. I just think of what it was made from and picture myself fucking part of a tree!
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
The hardwood dildo didn't achieve the pleasure I thought it would, It was just cold and very hard. Even my hubbie didn't want to risk causing himself any damage no matter how much lube I said I would put on it.

I won't be using this dildo again, I would rather use my rabbit as it gives pleasure where it should..
How could this item be improved upon?
Perhaps if it had a slight curve at the front tip to stimulate the g-spot it may have felt a little more pleasing.
It was easily washed and dried and put back into it's lovely velvet pouch.
