Sex Toys ReviewsClimax jewels - February 2008 Precious, discreet, and a total treat Climax jewels Reviewed by mjkuktm2 What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform? Upon receiving the product and before even opening the envelope, I thought that it was underwear we had to test, that's how light it was. The packaging was pleasantly discrete and non-graphical (no naked chicks here). However, the product looked cheap and quite tacky. Being totally transparent, we were not convinced about the sensuality of seeing the battery. It is not as long as other vibrators we have used before, however the thickness was standard. The tip of the vibrator is a bit angled, something we have not tried before so the missus conclusion is that it'll probably make her cum. What was the item like in action? Regarding the promises on the packaging: 1. Multispeed: It does indeed have multispeed, however for us it turned out to be more effective at lower speeds. 2. Portable size: it can be easily carried in a make up bag, however appearance-wise it is not discreet enough. 3. Angle Tip: this is probably one of the good parts as it allows for easier penetration, but (at least for us) it did not add any earth-shattering elements. 4. Sleek and quiet: No way! Anything but! We actually chose to use it at low speeds just because the noise it makes at higher speeds is off-putting and distracting and far from sensual. When used on the clitoris it did feel nice and it was pleasant to use during foreplay. However, I will not be packing away my Rabbit. the vibrations were not strong enough to compensate for the lack of size, therefore penetration was completely ineffective. It was initially used in the shower since it's meant to be waterproof, however from the first moments we could see water going into the vibrator so we decided to leave wet adventures for later. Once used on dry land, we noticed that the cheap plastic of the vibrator managed to make my girl's juices look unpleasant, and trust me, that's quite an achievement. Overall, the item was a flop. It will be good for foreplay but it's not there to finish any jobs: more of a sex aid with a partner, than sex replacement for single ladies. Regarding usability, an idiot oculd use it: there's only a standard twist cap which however, was not very stable and its clicking sound contributed to the already annoying vibration noise. Did the item make you feel sexy? the item failed to put either of us in the mood for sex. Thank God the mood was there already just because of the thought that we had to review a toy, however the toy itself did not push the right buttons. The only redeeming feature of the toy is that it's so ineffective for penetration and solo use that I got to use it on my girl for foreplay. What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties? Probably a poor one. We ended up stop using it and continued with normal sex. It's probaly nothing that we would show to any of our friends: it's not impressive enough to brag about and it's not even stupid enough to laugh about either. Any other comments? If we had the choice in the shop, we would not opt for this item. It looks cheap and boring and would definitely not recommend it to any friends. I am rather pesimistic about vibrators having had a number of differnt ones in the past and have to admit I wasn't to sure on the claims of the power and lack of noise what with its size. I was a bit dubious in the beginning about how the Climax Jewel was described on the packaging as being quiet and powerful, however I was plesantly surprised as it "did exactly what it said on the tin". I found the Jewel to be quiet enough to use without being caught by my boyfriend yet it also has the power to keep him entertained when we were together. As a warning though as the Jewel is plastic, if you are more used to the silicone or "real feel" vibrators on the market or even if you are not I would recommend using the product with a good amount lubricant!
