Sex Toys ReviewsClimax® Bursts™ Tingling Lubricant - July 2008 What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform? The gel is attractively presented in a clear bottle with golf ball sized twist top. The small pink beads held in suspension in the gel looked intriguing. The product description was self explanatory so we had a very good idea of what to expect when we used it. What was the item like in action? Even though the gel is water based, it feels very silky and not at all sticky. The small pink beads did indeed burst on contact adding to the overall tingly impact of the product. At first we, thought the tingling effect was very poor but after a few seconds, it began to take effect and then it became very powerful and most pleasant. Did the item make you feel sexy? We have used other gels with varying degrees of success and pleasure but this one rated very highly and on a par with Durex Minty Gel but this is far more subtle. We enjoyed using it on each other and enjoyed the tickly tingly feeling it gave us on different parts of our bodies. Definiately a fun item to have. What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties? We both enjoyed playing with the gel and have almost used half of it up already. It really is very nice for general use as well as on the more sexually sensitive areas. Be careful, however, not to put too much on your clitoris f you are not used to it, it can be too much !!! Any other comments? This is a nice gel and one we would use again. We like it very much and enjoy it's subtle build up. Tis product met our expectations in every respect. How could this item be improved? As with all gels, the packaging is difficult to handle if you are reapplying some with slightly slippery hands. Easy grip packaging is the only improvement I could consider. Would you recomend this item to a friend? Certainly. Do you have any hot tips for usage with this item? Try this afetr a nice bath - it really works well and if used as a massage gel as well as where it counts the most !!! Try it on each other, the results really can be a lot fun !!! The item looked very appealing, in a well shaped bottle and an interesting consistency with the 'bursts' susspended in the lube. The head of the bottle pushes up to release the liquid inside, which was an extra added feature.It was described as tingling, which made you anticipate the feelings to come and was aptly named climax bursts. What was the item like in action? The mental build up, was the highlight of this product. In action it could best be described as just another lube. There didn't seem to be any 'tingling' just a really warm feeling when in contact with the skin and we certainly didn't feel any of the promised 'bursting on contact' and we used this everywhere! However you do get a hot feeling. Did the item make you feel sexy? The anticipation of using the product did make you feel in the mood and it was pleasant to use, just not as amazing as the hype would have you believe. For some the sensation may be described as uncomfortable rather than tingling. As a lube it works well for a start, but after a while does go a bit tacky. What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties? First impressions count and this looks really exciting and fun to use- my wife's sentiments. Any other comments? Probably won't be used on a daily basis, but as an avenue to add a bit of variety, especially if you like to feel hot, hot, hot before you begin foreplay. How could this item be improved? Don't think they could do anything more suitably as they already have a range of different experiences, so if you don't like this one read other reviews to workout if you would like it before buying or may not be used. I experienced a vague aroma of 'washing up liquid in the smell of this, whereas my wife said she could smell 'coconuts' so definitely a personal sense of smell to it which may not appeal to all. Would you recomend this item to a friend? Maybe if someone said they wanted to try a different lube. Do you have any hot tips for usage with this item? We used it on a weekend away with different toys which was great, however it would have been equally as great without the lube. What rating would you give this item out of 5? 2 Climax® Bursts™ Tingling Lubricant Reviewed by Ginger What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform? When I opened my parcel, I found a bottle of Climax Bursts lube to try out. It has a lot of little "beads" in an almost clear lube, with a pop up lid for easy dispensing. The beads are enriched with vitamins that are good for the skin, and the water based lube has aloe and chamomile in it to cool and sooth. It says on the bottle that it has a tingling effect which I was keen to test. The bottle is quite a nice design, which you could even leave our on your dresser, with no questions asked. What was the item like in action? Having read the back of the bottle, I found that the beads are supposed to burst with gentle massaging, hence the tingling effect. I squeezed out some of the lube onto hubby's fingers for a good look, then got him to rub it onto my skin. I can report that the beads do pop, and they do cause a tingling sensation. This felt very good, so I applied some to hubby's member and myself and started with some gentle girl on top motion. You can't actually feel the beads pop, you you certainly know that they have. They produce something like tingling, but more what we described as a warming "sherbert fizzy" sensation. This got warmer and better as we went on. Overall this lube worked very well. Did the item make you feel sexy? Yes it did. I would say it got better the more it was used as it made our parts more sensitive. What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties? Hubby's first reaction was - its pink! but after he got over that he was keen to try out the way the lube worked. I too was very impressed with the lube. I always use water based lubes and some can be a bit too runny, but this one has a very good thick consistency. Any other comments? I can't think of any, except that we spent quite a while testing this lube to try to come up with another word for the tingling effect, hence the "sherbert fizzy" moment. :-)) How could this item be improved? I don't think this product could be improved at all. Its excellent as it is! Would you recomend this item to a friend? Certainly! Do you have any hot tips for usage with this item?
