What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
I thought it had lots of potential! I've never used a lubricant other than olive oil so I was curious to see what this was like. I thought it might be sticky but it wasn't at all.
What was the item like in action?
It really does glide and makes skin very slippy and slidey.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
Yes, and it made my boyfriend feel sexy too.
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?

What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
The swish purple box and the very dominant 'Astroglide' across the front makes it look like some strange product from the future, added to the 'Doctor Recommended' Logo at the top immediately made me think - American! And further investigation on the back of the package proved me correct. I giggled to be honest. It's a bit over the top, isn't it? Still, it is relatively discrete packaging compared to some others and wouldn't look too conspicuous on the bathroom shelf. If you get rid of the cardboard box entirely, the little bottle is kind of cute but still says 'Personal Lubricant' across the middle of the label.
I love the caution warning on this box that says 'Caution - Astroglide is extremely slippery' - you don't say.... Have things really got that bad in the litigious US?
The trademark of this lubricant is 'Second Only to Nature' as well as claiming to be a 'water-based whisper light lubrication'. Some pretty hefty claims for what is essentially a wee bottle of goo. So let's find out if it lives up to it's own prophecy...
What was the item like in action?
I have to admit, I am generally a KY Jelly kind of girl, but I am very impressed with this lubricant! It is very light to use and obviously water-based, as it's very runny...which I found to be a bit trickier as I tend to use lubricant to oil plugs and I find the most effective way to do this is to lube the plug rather than me, but this lubricant kept running down the plugs before I got them in! (whereas KY is a much thicker consistency and stays on the plug). This was the only niggle I had, because once I had adapted my method of using the lube, I found it to be really pleasant. One of the things I hate about other lubes is the stickiness and the feeling that it's not quite natural. With Astroglide, it did seem pretty much as good as real 'home-generated moisture'! You do however, need to use a bit more than you would with ordinary lubes to prevent drying out, but the end result is worth it.
The bottle has a little flip top thin dispenser so there is no wastage and such a small thin tube to direct it out of, you'll get it in the right place first time and not all over your thighs. Big plus points for design and ease of use!
There is no sticky residue feeling left over afterwards, nor does it feel sticky on your hands and fingers, so you don't ruin the moment by eagerly rushing to the loo to wash it off either.
Generally, an excellent and impressive product. I have been converted and the old KY is making it's way to the bin!
Did the item make you feel sexy?
Yes. It genuinely does create a lovely natural feeling with no sticky residue like other lubes can. You don't feel like you have an orifice full of gooey slime, it just feels, well, natural! Does exactly what it says on the tin! How refreshingly unusual...
What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
Well, my husband rolled his eyes when I showed him it because of the general American cheesiness, but in action he rather liked it! In saying that, with some vigorous pumping of toys, we noticed when we removed them that there was little collections of bubbles around the toys. That sent us both into convulsions of laughter! Still, at least it could double up to wash your dishes! Fairy Liquid here we come...

Yes. I'd love to know how this item became 'Doctor Recommended'! Do you think they all sit around in a hospital and run their very own Sex Toy Testers Clinic?!
How could this item be improved upon?
Perhaps label on bottle could be altered to make their 'personal Lubricant' text a little more discrete for those times when your mother unexpectedly visits and you don't have time to clear up! Other than that, it's pretty much perfect.

Recommend it to a friend? Heck, I'm going to buy out the stock of this stuff when I find out where to buy it!

Nice box but great name. The bottle it came in looks better than some of the tubes we've used before because shinny screw tops are not to easy to get on when your hands are all slippy but this neat lid is great.
What was the item like in action?
Great in action. Felt natural and you don't need much although a top up now and again helped with bigger toys. Also for those who like some oral aswell it didn't taste to bad some have a realy yucky taste but this was fine, although not flavoured.
Did the item make you feel sexy?
It did in the sence that you could get well lubricated right from the start. A little spread around the clit and surrounding area felt great.gets you off to a good start

It worked well for both of us like a well oiled machine!
