What was your first impression of the item sent to you? From reading the cover, what did you expect?
I was intrigued when i got this book and could not wait to sit down and read it. I liked the idea of them being short stories as i could sit down with a brew between doing housework and read a story. This only worked for about 3 stories before i wanted my hubby upstairs for a quickie!! The front cover picture was sexy but not slutty which was a plus. I really liked the look of it. I thought at first it was a novel with one story but liked the idea of the short story.

What kinds of content were in the book?
The book contained 20 short stories and it did not take me long to finish them all. There was a few ideas i will be adding into our sex life and giving a try but not really any sex tips. The stories had enough information in the descriptions for you to picture it well in your head for you to take to the bedroom to try yourself.

Did you find the book informative
I learnt a few things which i tried with my husband and we were both happy with the result. Reading a variety of stories really opens your eyes as to what actually turns you on. The story lines in the stories were good too which helps to keep you turning the page and not getting bored.

Did you find the book Sexy
Disappointing there are no pictures in the book, either sketches or phots which does let it down as i think pictures help to set the scene and can help to turn you on more. The stories though were enjoyable all the same. If there were a few pictures then the book would be brilliant.

Did you find the book inspiring?
Again, no photos or pictures. From a couple of the stories we got ideas to try and liked them so that was a good added bonus. I was also surpirsed what turned me on as somethings in the stories I would not have thought i would have liked but turns out it worked for me!

What did you think about the quality of the stories?
I think the stories were great, they were sexy and raunchy but not disgusting and gave the desired effect. A couple of the stories were real eye openers but i read them anyway and surprised myself at a few of them in wanting to give them a go. My husband certainly did not complain and even he has read a couple of them which impressed me for something like that to keep his attention as well as it did.

What did you think about the quality of the Photos?
No photos. The picture on the front cover was nice and sexy though but not slutty which i was impressed with. I will be looking out for the other books it shows on the back cover, as i would really like to read those too.

What did you think about the quality of the Advertising?
No adverts in the book. The only advert was on the back cover and that was other books available from the series.

Has the book improved you sex life in any way? Did the book highlight any hot tips to you?
I would like to try a few of the ideas i got from the stories. I have already tried to sweet talk the in laws into babysitting. I would like to have the nerve to try some of them but think it could be a step too far for me but hey you never know this book surprised me so i still have an open mind which is now slightly broader!

Who do you think this book is aimed at?
i think this book would be enjoyable by any age group. The stories have a nice theme to them and they grip you enough to not want to put it down until that short story has been read and enjoyed. Anyone who has a sexual organ should get something from at least one of the stories. The price is well worth it for an enjoyable read, good read and value.

Does the item need improving, if so in what way?
Yes the only thing i would improve would be the addition of pictures. Not bothered whether they are photos or sketches but i think adding some would really liven the pages up for the reader. I like the cover and dont think that needs changing at all.

Yes

Do you have any hot tips for using this item?
Definately a good bedtime read and will certainly get you heading in the right direction. I read it during the day and thankfully had time to add in a little sex but that is a rare occasion so better really at night. You can sit down relax take you to where the story goes, enjoy and follow up with great sex! What more could you want. Great spicer up!

I was delighted to recieve this book in the post, i opened the packaging to see a picture of a lady with chains and the tital Power play...made feel eager to read...i read the back cover of praise for the Xcite book to start...and was really excited as to when i had the time to read the contents.....and yes it deserves praise.

the content is 20 erotic short stories of powerplay, submission and domination from different authers..

A couple of stories gave me insight into a gay mans fantasy, this is new for me and i found it interesting..most stories gave me ideas to write some of my own experiences and thoughts for some more;)

this book is aimed at anyone who is experienced in exploring powerplay and other sexual acts, swingers, doggers ect young or old..it would also make a good read for someone who is not so experienced and still trapped within there sexual self wanting to make sexual fantasy real..

I cannot see any need for changing this book to make it better, it is great as it is...i could include some of my own stories ha ha

there is no should or should't in when to read this book, i have read in the morning before the start of my day and let the thoughts of the story's wander round while doing the mundane tasks of working...i have also read this book at night in bed whenever this book is read it will get you in the mood, if your sexually turned on by powerplay..

From the cover of the book, I imagined I would expect to find stories involving a clear mistress or master in the relationships the stories feature, and likely BDSM from the handcuff on the lady's wrist in the image. The cover itself was well designed; it looks sleek, sexy and professionally well-done.

What kinds of content were in the book?
The book contains 20 stories, all involving a form of power play. Examples; one story had a guy who wanted to be controlled in a relationship, another had a woman being subjected to sexual torture as part of an initiation, and another was about a couple who enjoyed this type of sexual activity.

Did you find the book informative
It was informative in the sense that it brought up situations of power play that I hadn't yet imagined. This book involved the one kink that I adore, and so I really paid attention to the stories, looking for new ideas.

Did you find the book Sexy
There are no sex images or real advice in the book; it is purely a collection of 20 stories by different authors. The stories themselves were incredibly sexy, some even more so than others. Some were a little corny in places.

Did you find the book inspiring?
It has to a point; this book has only enhanced my knowledge and love for this type of sexual behaviour. However, as of yet, I haven't put any of the situations into my sex life, purely because I am unsure of my own partner would be comfortable with this.

The stories were of good quality although, as mentioned, could be quite corny in places. Some were good to laugh at. But there are a few stories which were incredibly sexy to me, and I had to read over them twice having enjoyed them so much. I have only ever read one previous erotica book, but that didn't have as much power play in it as this one book.

The only photo featured is the one on the cover, which gives an accurate view of what happens in the stories, although a cuff isn't used in many of the stories.

The book had 3 different books from the same series featured, only saying the names and displaying the front covers in much smaller sizes. Unlike the previous erotica book I had read, there were no advertisements for other books on the last few pages.

It has not yet improved my sex life as I have yet to have this fun, but it has highlighted tips to me and a few ways to encourage my lover to help me achieve what I want.

I think this book would be aimed anyone who enjoys erotica stories, particularly power play. This could be used for couples for ideas or to get them in the mood, for singles for that night alone, experienced for new ideas, inexperienced as to show what to expect.

I can not think of any way this book needs improving. Maybe more room for more stories would be nice, but on a serious note, it was an enjoyable read.

I would recommend this book to friends only if I was sure this was what they were into.
