What was your first impression of the item sent to you? - the look and feel of it and your assumptions of how it was going to perform?
When I opened the parcel and saw what it was, I was quite shocked, to be truthful. I had been expecting some brightly coloured neon nightmare of a vibrator (as most invariably are) but was pleasantly shocked to see that it was this little critter instead. Slim, well curved, and obviously designed to stimulate as much as possible, the Snake Of Paradise was quite intriguing!

The packaging itself is clear, with a coloured section down one side to represent a garden, as it is a product of Eden. Subtle pun, im sure. I have to admit, it was a lot classier than most toy packaging!

To be honest, I hadn't heard a lot about glass dildos, but I spoke to a few friends after getting this and apparently they're quite good. You can warm them, or chill them, to the desired temperature, and you never have to worry about too much friction - glass doesnt exactly make for rough sailing! It was with a little trepidation that I took it upstairs for use, but was still fairly confident that it was going to be a pleasurable experience!

What was the item like in action?
Lets be honest - I wasnt expecting an awful lot, but I got the feeling that the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

I had decided before hand that I would try and heat it up a little before doing anything, so I heated up some water and got it to a comfortable temperature, and left the Snake in the mug for a few minutes. Be careful, if the water is too hot it will hold the heat for quite a while, so make sure you get the temperature right before you grab it and go to town!

Overall, its a good toy, well thought out with its curves and bobbles, but after a while, if you're a little bit... smaller, shall we say, the bobbles do tend to make you a little sore after a while. Theyre nice, dont get me wrong, but because of my size it became a little bit of a discomfort after about ten minutes of use. On the plus side, its a very interesting shape and playing about inside with it did bring about a variety of interesting sensations ;o)

Did the item make you feel sexy?
I dont particularly see how a glass snake shaped dildo could make you feel sexy exactly, but the fact it wasnt some gaudy veined monstrosity, it certainly didn't make me laugh or make me feel intimidated or put off.

What reaction did the item acheive - personally to you or with other parties?
I showed this to a few of my friends, and they were mostly amused by the shape of it, but after explaining how good it was, more of them are now interested in the glass dildo ranges becoming more readily available

Any other comments?
I wouldnt say that this toy has opened up a new avenue of my sex life, but I would definitely recommend one to anyone else who was interested in getting glass toys - for the most part they are getting cheaper in price, and they provide a subtle difference to cold plastic or clammy rubber toys.

How could this item be improved?
I don't really know what improvements could be made with the product. To be honest, the toy is fine the way it is. It does exactly what its supposed to do in every way, but be warned - you may get a tired wrist after lots of use!

Yes, definitely.

Try out the pleasure gels you can buy as lubricants now - the tingling ones or the warming ones will provide similar sensations to warming or cooling the product. My partner and I used the toy after being in cold water, and then spread some of the heating lubricant on it... it made for a very interesting experience!

it was a total flop.

i would not know what to reccommend. the package gave no recomended parts to use it on. yes i did use lube. i guess i could try cold water not sure it will make a differents as the item is to small.
