My first impressions were favourable. Discreet packaging and the toy itself, great colour and unique design. Felt very rubbery, although it did appear flexible. Ultra quiet even on top vibe mode. Liked the idea of it being waterproof and couldn't wait to put it to the test.

As I saw the Climax Gems I immdeiatley thought how cute it looked due its unusual shape, its small size and purple colour. I thought it looked like a suitable toy for beginners as this does not appear over bearing in any way and in its packaging looks rather classy and non explicit. I was looking forward to trying it particularly with the unsual grooves however I was dubious about its performance as it reminded me of my first vibrator which made me wonder if it would meet the standards of vibes which appear to be more dynamic than this one.

The Climax Gem does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak, it is waterproof and the dual speeds are quiet so its great if you live in a shared house. One of the big positives is that the Climax Gem only requires one AA battery so I was very happy. Also it felt great as it was quite soft and slightly squishy.

The settings of the Climax Gem run from low to high which enables you to control how long you want to play and provides an oppertunity to be teased and be sensual with your partner. However if you are looking to climax fast and have many climax's out of your control then this toy isn't for you as the highest speed does not allow for this. The grooves can be felt and if in the right spot can really make a difference compared to the usual shapes. The only difficulty with the Climax Gem is that the speed setting is on the bottom, therefore you have to twist it so it's not as user friendly as say a push of a button.
